Shannon and Patrick said their vows among the fog at Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA. Soft pastel purples and wildflowers complimented the venue perfectly. Upstairs in the Inn is where they both got ready surrounded by family and friends. Shannon’s flowing simple gown with a darling sweetheart neckline, and bow tied in the back hung in the background while the girls drank champagne! The ceremony took place in this amazing tent out back, and despite not being able to get married in their original spot, under the arbor, they could still see the arbor from the spot under the tent where they got married. The rain held out while we took family and formal portraits. Mother Nature was definitely on their side (and my side!) during that time. I have to say, I have not yet had a wedding where there was SO MUCH fog, and it made for some pretty epic portraits! Looked like a misty fairytale. Once we finished, the reception took place inside the banquet hall, which was stunning with a large stone fireplace as the centerpiece. We snuck outside during the reception to take a few last portraits by Shannon’s favorite flowers! (Black Eyed Susies!) Followed by a bubble send off to their limo. It goes to show that you really never know what the weather will be on your wedding day! But if you are flexible, you can get some really stunning photos regardless. Enjoy! – Samantha
Amy and Vinh – A Shabby Chic Backyard Wedding
Amy and Vinh….. Where do I even begin?? Over three years ago I received an email from Amy who was interested in purchasing a gift certificate for a friend who was having a baby soon. I met her at a Dunkin Donuts with my son Jack, and was greeted by such a warm smile!! During the past few years she has gifted so many newborn sessions, including her own niece’s! And I had the pleasure of meeting her mom and dad as we did a Fall family session. So when Amy contacted me about her own engagement, I was SO EXCITED! I had spent so much time capturing the lives of her friends and family, I was honored to finally be able to capture her own love story!
We took their engagement photos at Hammonesset State Park at sunset, right where Vinh proposed to Amy. They were so easy to photograph, there affection for each other was perfection. (HAHA see what i did there??)
Amy and Vinh said I DO at Amy’s childhood home in Ludlow. But WOW, it did not feel anything like a backyard wedding. I felt like I was at a wedding venue. The second I walked up there were details in every area of the yard! Shades of green and pink, lace, antiques, and family heirlooms. It really did look like fairytale.
Down the hill surrounded by family and friends is where they said their vows. The sun was shining and smiles were everywhere! I found familiar faces everywhere, so many past clients from Amy’s gifting! How fun was it to see babies I photographed all grown up!
After the ceremony we took Amy and Vinh with their pups to Ludlow Mills, such a fun location. We had plenty of time to get all the shots I wanted! (That doesn’t always happen!)
The night started off with the first dance with the song by James Arthur, Say you won’t let go. I will admit I was getting teared up and Vinh buried his head in Amy’s shoulder. So sweet. I love weddings, they never get tiring. I truly felt more like a guest, than just the photographer. Thank you Amy and Vinh. Love you guys!!
Meredith and Kellen – A Thompson Inn Wedding
Meredith and Kellen’s wedding all took place at The Thompson Inn and Cyder house, located in Durham, NH. I love when a bride and groom decided to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue. It saves so much time and stress of transportation! And this new venue did not disappoint. A light and airy pastel purple and green went perfectly with the rustic decor in the reception space. How gorgeous are those tables?! You only needed a simple centerpiece to add a finishing touch.
As Meredith slipped into her beautiful lace dress in the bridal suite, nobody could take their eyes off of her! (And some tears were shed!) Kellen waited for her underneath two old maple trees, where they said I DO. After they shared a few moments with family and friends at cocktail hour, it was time to DANCE!
Once again, I am honored to have shared the day with such a wonderful couple. It never gets old. XO

Meghan and Nate – A Wight Barn Wedding
Meghan and Nate chose to have their Spring wedding at the The Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge, MA. The pink, green and yellow color palette paired perfectly with some rustic touches and the couple’s style. This venue has an indoor barn for the reception, as well as a new barn location for indoor ceremonies! The light in that ceremony space was so LOVELY! And speaking of lovely light, so was the spot we chose for family and bridal party photos. Late in the day is a photographer’s dream for dreamy light! We finished portraits around the corner with a pink tree that fit perfectly with their day. (Thanks to my AWESOME second shooter for spotting it for me!)
It was so fun working with you guys, starting with your engagement photos until your big day! Have a fantastic honeymoon!
Megan and Brian – A Quonquont Farm Wedding
Megan and Brian – A Quonquont Farm Wedding
My first wedding of 2018!! I took some family photos for Megan, Brian, and Addison back around Christmas a year or two ago, and the second I met them I knew I loved their little family! I instantly felt like we were friends. So when Megan came to me and asked about photographing their wedding, I was THRILLED!
My day started out a bit interesting, as I went to leave my house to start getting ready photos of Megan, I got down the road and realized I had a flat tire….. (This is why I ALWAYS leave early for my weddings. ALWAYS!) SO once I got all of that squared away and was on the road officially, I arrived right on time! Megan got ready at the Quonquont bridal suite surrounded by all the closest girls. We got to do a first look with Megan’s Dad AND Brian. And take all their formal photos before the ceremony! The rain showers didn’t stop us! I love when a couple is adventurous and still wants to get outside for photos. The farm is so beautiful we had to get some shots outside. Considering the apple blossoms had JUST bloomed!
The ceremony and reception took place inside their barn, which I love. They have awesome lights hanging throughout the beams which gives it such a great atmosphere! Plenty of dancing was enjoyed by everybody, and even a special dance with Brian and Addison. (And I can’t forget the tears during speeches!)
Thank you so much Megan and Brian for letting me share your very very special day. I will always photograph your weddings and be as excited as you are to watch you say I DO. XOXO
